WooCommerce to Shopify migration without losing Google.

WooCommerce, Wix, Magento, Shopware, or custom to Shopify. Catalog, variants, customers, orders, URL mapping, and 301 redirects are first-class deliverables, then a conversion-focused Shopify storefront. Not a data dump with a new coat of paint.

Plan my migration

Why migrate

Cheap to start. Expensive to keep.

Same drag, different stack. Find yours below.

WooCommerce

Held together with plugins

20 plugins run checkout. One auto update breaks payments, one missed patch opens a known hole. You pay for hosting, fixes, and worry.

Magento / Shopware / Wix

Built for IT teams, billed like it

Every change needs an agency ticket, every upgrade is a project. Hosting plus licenses costs more than Shopify before you sell.

Custom build

Great until the dev leaves

No docs, no support line, every feature starts from zero. Scaling means rebuilding. Slow pages and sale day crashes come with it.

Security sits with you

Patches, PCI scope, card data. One miss and the store is exposed. Shopify takes this off your plate.

Budget goes to upkeep

Hosting, monitoring, fixes. Margin that should fund growth pays just to keep the lights on.

Slow when it matters

Mobile lags, sale day queues, checkout drops. Speed is conversion, and self hosted rarely keeps up.

Shopify flips it: PCI Level 1 security, zero updates to run, fast hosted checkout, and 99.99% uptime when traffic spikes.

Concrete deliverables, no hand-waving.

Migration map

What comes across, what gets redesigned, what gets dropped. Catalog, customers, orders, content.

Data and SEO

Products, variants, customers, order history, URL mapping, and 301s. Rankings are a deliverable.

Designed storefront

You are not paying to recreate a bad WooCommerce theme on Shopify.

Cutover

Payments, shipping, taxes, DNS, and a launch window that does not torch a selling season.

Built for teams like yours.

WooCommerce stores

Tired of hosting, plugins, and breakage. Ready to leave, need the move done right.

Magento / Shopware / Wix

Stores on platforms that cost more to keep than to leave, including Wix shops that outgrew the builder.

Custom / legacy software

A homegrown stack that only one person understands.

Questions we hear a lot.

Will we lose Google rankings when we migrate?

A small dip during recrawl is normal. A collapse is not. We map every URL, upload tested 301 redirects before launch, resubmit the sitemap, and watch Search Console daily for 30 days. Redirect gaps get fixed within days. Ask us to show you a sample redirect map on the call.

What exactly moves across?

Catalog, variants, customers, order history, content, and URL mapping with 301s. Subscriptions need special handling and may rebuild in the subscription app of record. We list what comes across, what gets redesigned, and what gets dropped before anyone signs.

Do you migrate from Wix too?

Yes. Wix to Shopify is a growing share of our migration inquiries as shops outgrow the builder. Same discipline as Woo moves: catalog mapping, customer data, URL inventory, and 301 redirects, then a storefront designed for conversion rather than a port of the old theme.

How long does it take and when should we launch?

Small catalogs typically run 4 to 8 weeks. Large or subscription heavy catalogs run 8 to 16 weeks including QA. We cut over in a quiet week outside peak season, freeze content during final QA, and train your team on the editor before go live.

What happens to customer passwords and subscriptions?

Customer records and order history transfer as part of the plan. Passwords usually need resets because hashes cannot move between platforms, so we plan the messaging with you. Subscriptions often rebuild in the subscription app of record, which we scope explicitly instead of discovering mid project.

Do you just port our old theme to Shopify?

No, and that is deliberate. Porting recreates the same weak pages on better infrastructure. We map what must come across for data and SEO, then design the storefront your catalog deserves: collection architecture, product storytelling, cart trust, and campaign modules your team can reuse.

What do you need from us to start?

Store access, a list of every app and integration including the ones you dislike, and honesty about what breaks today. Subscription details matter most, so share those early. One decision maker on weekly reviews keeps the timeline honest.

What happens after go live?

Sitemap resubmission, Search Console watched daily for 30 days, crawl errors fixed within days, and editor training for your team. Then you run it with the docs we handed over, or keep us around for CRO and campaigns. Either way the store stays yours.

Off the old stack, rankings intact.
